Featuring a timeless and exclusive setting, Rosa Alpina is a luxury hotel in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The elegant retreat is located in the village of San Cassiano in Badia at 1,537 meters above sea level.
Celebrating local hospitality and refined Alpine style, the hotel’s 52 rooms and suites were individually designed with an authentic mountain influence that includes antiques and luxurious materials. There are Ladin style living areas, balconies, and bathrooms with ceramic or marble baths with showers, and some with walk-in showers and double sinks.The colors of the surrounding nature and Dolomites peaks are relected in many of the item of furniture that have been lovingly assembled by the Pizzinini family.

Accommodation
The 51 spacious rooms and suites each feature a seating area and subtle cream and grey colour scheme. Newer guestrooms offer more contemporary design, with glass-encased fires and sleek timber furnishings, yet still nod to local Ladin traditions with wood-panelled ceilings, fire wood baskets and ceramic stoves. For ultimate romance, choose Suite La Tor: the bed lies beneath a dramatic circular vaulted ceiling. For chalet privacy with hotel convenience, the rooftop Chalet Zeno offers three plush bedrooms, a large living room, open-plan kitchen and dining area, and a private garden with hot tub and sauna.
Wood and stone touches complement a serene Alpine-inspired palette and panoramic views of the starkly beautiful mountains and forests all round.
Deluxe Room
Deluxe Room (30 – 41 sq.m.) / Deluxe Queen Room (27 sq.m.)
Deluxe rooms are divided into those with south-facing balconies and those with a more spacious living area and bathroom. They all feature Ladin-style living areas with authentic local antique furnishings. The bathrooms have a ceramic or marble bath with shower, some with a walk-in shower and double basins.
The airy, Deluxe Queen rooms are equipped with a queen-sized bed, a balcony and a bathroom with shower. They feature a small sitting area.
Junior Suite
Junior Suite (43 – 50 sq.m.)
Spacious and elegantly decorated with luxurious fabrics, the 43-50m² Junior Suites provide comfort and plenty of space to relax. They are individually themed and furnished with great attention to detail.
Junior Suites are equipped with a stylish living area and twin beds, that can be separated and some have a balcony. The spacious bathrooms feature a bathtub, walk-in shower and double basins.

Suite (44 – 58 sq.m.)
The perfect intimate retreat in the Dolomites, a number of our 44-58m² Suites are situated over two floors, with the living area separate from the bedroom. The Suites are furnished according to different themes which reference local culture.
The comfortable living area offers a sofa and either a fireplace or a tiled stove. The bathrooms feature a walk-in shower, bathtub and double basins.

Loft Suites

Utterly unique, each of the state-of-the-art Loft Suites in the wooden Chalet wing offers traditional elegance with a modern twist.
They are open plan and encompass approximately 50m² with a 10m² south-facing terrace. Reflecting local style with modern touches.
An open fireplace provides a welcoming focal point, while a relaxing sitting area and natural wooden floors from an old Austrian farmhouse add warmth to the sophisticated decor. Supremely comfortable beds offer goose down duvets, while spacious marble bathrooms, each with a hammam shower and a bathtub, complement this very special hotel experience.
Penthouse
A private refuge located on the top floor of the Engelstrakt
Housing one master suite, including its own private Finnish sauna with forest views and two additional bedrooms, all with hammam showers, a living room with a dining area, bar, kitchen and fireplace, the newly renovated Penthouse on the fourth floor spans 180m² and offers fabulous views of San Cassiano and the surrounding Dolomites peaks. The Penthouse has a private access via an internal elevator.

Châlet Zeno
A contemporary mountain-style chalet, Chalet Zeno offers three double bedrooms and a spacious living area with exposed wooden beams and an inviting fireplace. An elegant bar divides the living space from the dining and kitchen areas. The private garden offers an outdoor Finnish Sauna and a Jacuzzi.
Chalet Zeno comprises one master suite, one suite and one Deluxe Room, for a maximum of six guests. The suites feature generous bathrooms with hammam showers.
Restaurants
For dining, the hotel offers three Michelin-starred cuisine at the Restaurant St. Hubertus. Intimate dinners are served at the Fondue Restaurant, and casual dining is offered at the Restaurant Wine Bar & Grill. While Restaurant Limonaia serves an extensive breakfast buffet.
Amenities
Designed for relaxation and energizing workouts, the hotel’s spa has a private garden with discreet service, as well as an indoor swimming pool, saunas, and fitness center.
During the winter months the property offers ski fittings and ski/snowboard preparation for guests, as well as a shuttle to Piz Sorega Lift Station. While the summer opening offers guests the opportunity to go hiking, mountain biking, road biking, golf, and climbing.

Spa and Wellness
Wellness is an important focus for Rosa Alpina, and the hotel’s comprehensive spa is a serene haven in which guests can relax after an active day in the outdoors. An adults-only area ensures peace and tranquillity apart from the family-friendly facilities. Nine tranquil treatment rooms are complemented by two indoor heated swimming pools with garden and forest views – one for families and one exclusively for adults. Other facilities include a Jacuzzi, yoga studio, fully equipped gym and hydrotherapy areas including a Turkish hammam, a Finnish sauna, a Bio sauna and a cold plunge pool. The spa menu offers an extensive range of massages, facials and specialist treatments. A number of treatments are offered in collaboration with Aman Spa, incorporating Aman’s all-natural skincare products.
